This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
Portable, self-contained copy of the FAA Aircraft Registry.
Enter the N number and look up the details for any interesting airplane: model, builder, year, engine, owner. Perfect for aviation history fans, private pilots, experimental aircraft builders, and journalists. Take this app to your next fly-in or airshow.
No network connection needed, and faster than a web-based lookup.
What's New in Version 1.7
Abandoned by developer
Obviously, the developer of Plane Sight is going to reap any payments from anyone foolish enough to buy this app, which is dependent on a database that hasn't been updated in years.
It was a good app, when new. Now, it is just another outdated and abandoned POS app.
Fortunately, I remembered the publisher's name, so I did not waste money on another app, History Pointer. I assume the publisher will abandon that app as well.
"The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior." My belief in that fact just saved me $5.00😊
Don't buy until updated
Developers, when was the last time you updated with FAA registry? This app was good once, can be good again with an update.
Nice app but not updated in over 3 years
Fun to keep track of old planes I've owned and tracking other aircraft. Now about 50 percent of the time, searches are not relevant because this app is reliant on developer data updates of FAA ownership records.
