The newest "hard levels" in pirate seas are purely pay to play

This used to be a great game, I've been playing it for years now. But I have to say that the most recent "hard level" pirate seas update, is a total money grab. Most of the levels in this new update are absolutely unbeatable without using lots of power ups, aka gold coins. I was so happy when pop cap announced the ability to level up plants and with the addition of new levels to the game, I really thought pop cap was breathing new life into a game that they essentially abandoned a year ago. Unfortunately, it seems that the leveling up of plants was only meant to keep us playing and watching very frequent ads. My Leveled up plants (mostly levels 4 and 5) are almost completely useless in the new hard levels, its all about power ups if you want to beat them. About the only thing that leveled up plants are good for, is making it slightly easier to beat old levels that are required of you to get piñatas every 4 hours. These Piñatas help you level up your plants, that then essentially have no purpose in helping you advance any further in the game. I really don't see a point in playing this game anymore. To me, these new monthly updates are just a way for pop cap to try and squeeze every last iota of revenue they can from this once great game. It's Such a bummer what this game has become, and how bad PVZ heroes is.

Power to the Plants!!!

For all you classic players, this game brought ingenuity to the PvZ franchise, with the newer Power Plants update. Understanding your concerns about IAP and your plants never being the same, I suggest that PopCap adds a feature to select the level of your plants up to the currently unlocked level. Also, there are rumors no more IAP plants and upgrades will be available. I hope PopCap, and to a greater extent EA, they will realize 95% of the players will never buy all the plants, mostly only one or two, and they take it amongst themselves to add new levels like the coded Modern Day Nights and add new plants with them. Or they can add more epic quests. On a big side note, I have trouble opening the app without it not working due to a bug. Not all updates have to be monthly, and not all have to add new content. PopCap should add regular de-bugging updates to keep players from rage-quitting due to not being able to open the app. Overall, the Pirate Seas expansion wasn't particularly challenging, but still worthwhile and fun to try out. :-)

I honestly liked the map like over-world, it gave you an option to play certain levels that are mini games, like the original, but if you find one mini game you're bad at in the new versions, GOD HELP YOU. Secondly I liked that you had to play each world in order again like the original, but IF YOUR GAME IS TOO HARD THAT YOU NEED MORE THAN 2 WORLD PLANTS TO BEAT A LEVEL IN WORLD 1, YOU SHOULD MAKE THE GAME EASIER! Thirdly , some plants are JUST USELESS. Such as the electric blueberry, it's just the powered up lightning reed, but it takes longer, only kills one AND IT HAS NEVER KILLED A ZOMBIE THATWAS A THREAT, unless it was the only thing on screen. The fire pea is just a clone of the pepper pult, but it just shoots foreword, which brings the question, if the cabbage pult is better than a peashooter WHY DOES IT COST MONEY, and this takes place in a world that there obtsicals that the blocks normal projectiles, the only situation where I wish I had the fire pea is in the LOST CITY, oh wait THERE ARE PEA SHOOTERS! and personally I have no clue of what the primal sunflowers do that regular ones dont?
