Customer Reviews

Thank you for fixing for iOS 11!!!

I love this game! Unlike most other games out, I can play at my leisure and not be punished for forgetting to play it one day. Even if I have already finished every level, there’s the twice-daily piñatas I can get, the daily piñata level, and all the endless levels! Very well put-together game!

I have read other reviews where people claim this game is a cash cow and that it can’t be beat or even enjoyed without spending money. I can’t disagree more. I have been playing this game since its release and haven’t spent any money on it. I have beat every level. Never needed a premium plant. The ones that complain clearly have little skill in tower defense games (that’s really what this game is, if you take away the bells and whistles) and can’t manipulate the in-game mechanics to play successfully. Yes, premium plants would make the levels easier but it is certainly not impossible to win without premium plants.

Thanks!

Do you like ads?

Do you like ads? Like, a lot of ads? In between every level? To get bonus stuff only to have the game crash repeatedly and then you don’t get that bonus stuff? How about riské ads that imply something about a pickle, the full content of which I’ll leave to your imagination?

Most importantly, do you like ads that use your location even though you have that functionality blocked?

If you’ve answered yes to any single one of those questions, then this is the game for you! If you answered yes to all of them, then this is ABSOLUTELY the game for you!

Buried somewhere under all of the pop-up, auto-play video ads, and the “clever” button placement where when you go to tap one thing, it prompts you to spend money on something else, there is a potentially solid game, but you would never know it. EA, in its infinite wisdom, has decided to ruin that by burying it under a slew of ads that ruin any sort of flow that you could possibly get into it.

This was a problem when it came out and, hoping against hope that they may have toned it back I reinstalled the game only to find that the advertising has gotten substantially more out of control.

If you enjoy that sort of thing, more power to you. Enjoy being the product. Me? I’m going to stick to mobile games that try to squeeze every last penny out of my wallet.

Long Time Player

I have been playing this game for many years now, beginning with the original one. One of my only issues arises from the performance of the game in the areas of battery and slow down. It is definitely a battery drainer even though I play on my iPad Pro 10.5. I also encounter super annoying slow down on some of the endless Stages to the point that I can take 20 to 30 minutes for one level to finish.I have purchased many of the plants, and some are cool, but the reality is most of them are useless for the endless stages. I would like to see an endless mode similar to the original one where you would keep all your powered up plants and keep going and going until you were overrun by the zombies.
