A must-get-game!!! Must read!!!
A really fun game. The game is supposed to be difficult you imbeciles! And if you can't pass a level then you are just not creative and not very smart and do not know how to have fun. A very fun game and I have no problems to comment about. This game is very cool and is the best in my house!!! This game is very strategic and I guess time-consuming. I want you guys (Pvz2 team) to take your time on making stuff so that you can look good in front of others. Hard work pays off you know. Well like I said, this is a very cool game and I can't express it in words but this game is really wonderful. Oh yeah, try to make the money premium plants cheaper because I just realized that I used 15$ in just this game. It may look a little bit, but if you take the time to realize it, it's actually a lot of money for a game that will be forgotten in the next 5 years. So yeah, it's a great game !!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! LOVE U GUYS!!! P.S. And please listen to us to us to keep us satisfied. We play an EXTREMELY important role in the gaming economy. Without us gamers you guys wouldn't be here, so we are just as important as you guys. We depend on each other!!! So don't forget about us!!!
The good and the bad
This is an interesting update on the original, with some nice added features, but is ultimately a flawed game.
First there is a lot to like. There are several fun and whimsical themes based on epochs in time, with a heavy dose of fantasy. The plants are hilarious as are the various zombies. The animation is charming and creative.
Yet, these things don't make up for the fact that the freemium model used feels like a ripoff. The game is far too difficult to play inparts requiring you to resort to using power ups and other gimmicks to survive. For example in the Egyptian era, sandstorms will rush the yard far too quickly and frequently making it impossible to build up your defenses I time to defend yourself without burning through power ups ( or purchasing the, ). It just feels like the game is relying on people to lack infinite patience, and end up purchasing power ups. Also, some of the favorite plants from PVZ1 are now freemium purchases, and purchasing them means you end up paying exponentially more than an honest pay-up-front model. The game appears to be impossibly difficult to play in order to coax players into spending more. It really ruins the gameplay, which is just sad, because I'd be more than willing to pay for the game up front.
I don't write reviews very often but I feel like I have to now for this game. I've been playing plants vs zombies for years. I've beaten the first one several times, on iOS and pc. So naturally I was super excited when 2 finally came out. And the first few worlds went well and it felt promising. However, once dark ages came out, the worlds and levels have gotten significantly harder. I love a good challenge but these levels force you to spend money; wether it's on plant food or on power ups.
Huge masses of bucket heads or high defense zombies that seem to eat your plants a lot faster than they used to. Also seems like plants aren't as effective as they were. A lot of these levels are not beatable with just plants and skill alone
Also, there's plants that cost $4! Are you serious? Complete rip off. Also to that, I have beaten Wild West multiple times and the game has still yet to unlock the split pea which is super frustrating.
I do love the daily games. They are fun and a change of pace. I look forward to them every day. I like that gems are the prize now and if you need a redo is only 500 coins now compared to the 1000 it used to be.
All in all, I love this game just frustrated and disappointed. I love strategic games and a challenge but I don't care to spend extra money on a game.
