Customer Reviews

worst port ive ever seen..dont buy

i own the iphone/ipad ver and love it so i bought this crap it has NO settings to change and tweak like the ipad app, but whats worse…is that EVERY image i bring into it is UNUSEABLE!!!!!! the app seems to zoom in on the upper right section of ANY image i open. at first i couldn't even tell it was my images. i thought maybe it was some sort of sample…no it renders any image i bring in zoomed about 500% to what appears to be upper right corner. unusable!!!!! add to that the lack of settings and this is garbage. RED Giant makes great software for computers and video enhancing, but this is an embarrassment. i will never look at this company the same way again. shame on you RG
-----------UPDATE-----------
8 months later, wrote this review, still no fix, still doesnt work!!!!
ive researched online, contacted red giant…nothing..im NOW using a brand new mac book pro top of the line…everything updated….still zooms in on random part of image. useless. love the iphone app, and love the Red Giant pro programs for editing, but this Plastic Bullet App is TRASH. Doesnt work properly, if i could give it a negative star i would!!! im not being hyper critical, it doesnt work, and no fixes or work arounds!!!!!

Way Easy and Way Fun

I mean all you have to do is select a photo from your library and Plastic Bullet gives you a bunch of fun variations. You just select the ones you want and save them to your library. I've used a real Holga plastic camera and you can only hope for the effects that this app provides. Definitely works best with outdoor scenes. The entertainment factor alone is worth the five bucks. You can't help but have fun with this app. Love it!! But wait! Just discovered that to share on Facebook, Plastic Bullet would like to be able to post on your status as YOU! Gee, thanks, but I don't think I want anyone else posting as me; I'm pretty capable of doing that myself. NOT HAPPY with that.

Doesn't Work - Can't Find Support

None of the buttons their silly "Help" section claims to have are available. When I import my photo I'm presented with four random effects. According to the "Help" there should be a toggle button to preview either four or nine effects. Nuh-uh. Nor is there a button to go back/refresh or "favorite" a preset. The drop down menu shows the preferences office, but it's greyed out and unavailable. I've tried to uninstall, reinstall, and restart my computer. Nuh-uh. I've scoured the developer's website and found lots of support for their other products, but absolutely nothing for Plastic Bullet. I'll try to send them an email, I guess.
