Pleo is an out-of-the-box business spending solution that offers smart payment cards for employees.
Pleo offers on-demand Prepaid MasterCard® virtual cards (for online purchases) and plastic cards (for in-store purchases) connected to desktop and mobile app for both employees and managers to track and manage all company expenses in real time.
All purchases made with Pleo cards appear instantly in the Pleo app - here, managers can easily monitor the spending and stay on top of budgets. After each purchase, the user receives a live notification and the application then uses proprietary technology to capture the receipt and categorise the spend. Companies can now say goodbye to expense reports and pending reimbursements.
All the data captured can be fed directly into the customer’s accounting system, which significantly reduces the administrative complexities of the finance function.
Pleo protects all financial information with advanced 24/7 fraud prevention systems. Cardholder data is protected by bank-level data encryption and is stored in PCIDSS level-1 compliant data centres.

When clicking on “Available Funds” on the expense page, you’ll notice a new bottom modal. It shows your spending limit, available funds, days left until your spend goes back to 0 and your per purchase limit. For admins only, it also shows the company wallet balance (available balance, pending amount and current balance).
Admins can now see their own available balance
Anyone now gets a warning when their company’s balance is below their own. When this is the case, you can click on your available funds to see your company’s available balance in a bottom modal. Employees can only see their company’s balance when it is below their own available balance.
If you reach your spending limit, your available balance will be show in red in the bottom modal
If you want to add multiple receipts to an expense, you can now do so more easily with the multiple receipt carousel (show by the dots at the bottom of the receipt image). Just swipe to the left on a receipt image to add more!
My cards Page
In the “My cards” page, you can now see your available funds as well as the number of days until it resets to its original value.
When you’re offline, you’ll see an offline page with a fun illustration and a functionality to reload.
