Fantastic app with a few bugs to fix

This app is awesome, and the whole family of Plex apps makes it the best media player option out there in my opinion.

The only major bug left at this point is only on iPhone, and that's that when the phone is locked and playing through AirPlay, Plex will go to the next video but it I'll only play audio until the phone is unlocked, and then it will play the video stream too. So that's frustrating when your phone is out of reach. It has been fixed on iPad already, so I can't wait for the next iPhone update.

Aside from that one frustration, thanks Plex folks for an awesome experience with your solution.

Last media server app you will ever need

There is not enough time or room here to detail all the magnificence of this app. For those who don't know, it is not JUST an app, it is an entire infrastructure for organizing your personal media, including a desktop and web app and a media viewing app that is just about as common as Netflix. They have an app for almost every system now.

I search for years for the best way to do it and that search was over the day I found Plex. The support is great, the development continues progressing and has for years. I'll never need another media server as long as Plex lives.

All the bases covered

This really is a great app for media entusiasts. You can watch on mobile for a small in-app purchase and the casting ability is free to any Plex connected devices which includes web which is really convient for home theater setups. It works with a wide variety of apple Tv like devices and the remote ability or responsive. I would like to see the ability to edit media info from the mobile app as well as a more reliable casting remote to web players that can pause and connect after playing has started
