PNG mini converts 24-bit PNG to paletted 8-bit with full alpha channel. This greately reduces file sizes with only minor loss of quality. Quantized files are often 40-80% smaller than their 24/32-bit version, fully standards-compliant, and supported by all web browsers.
Drag 24-bit PNG image into main part of the window. Click "Compress" and then the small images should be converted and saved to the folder you specify .
If you have any trouble with the application, Please sent email to email@example.com; and we will respond all email in 24 hours.
1. Significantly better quality of quantization
2. Generated files smaller

I have a website that uses large PNG files, 24-bit. This app reduced some of them by 75% with no visual loss of quality. I had to zoom in like 200% to see a couple pixels were changed. I use HiDPI (retina) images on my site, and this will allow me to keep load times to a minimum. Only thing I see is that the green check icon is not retina quality (on my retina Macbook Pro). But hopefully that's the only issue I will encounter. Great app.
Worked great for me
I tried unsuccessfully to reduce a few PNG files using a number of different ways. None worked. My PNG was stuck at 311KB.
After using PNG Mini, I was able to reduce to 11KB, with no difference visibly.
Very easy to use, too, with drag and drop.
So far - Best one I've found.
Out of all the apps I've tried, this one works best. The ONLY pain is that it puts "(mini)" at the end of all the compressed files which can be annoying having to go back to take out of the file name.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
