When it comes to nerd street cred, having a slide rule is not enough. You need to know how to use it!
Hence, Pocket Slide Rule. This has the style of a classic rule, including great precision, but can also show you how to DO calculations. Learn simply by watching auto-slide-rule mode.
This version will auto-calculate multiplication and division. For 17 more functions to choose from, upgrade to the Pocket Slide Rule Expert.
Using this slide rule, you can perform:
-Multiplication and Division
-Squares, Cubes, arbitrary powers
-Logarithms, both natural and base 10
-Trigonometric and reverse trig functions
Think you can't do precise calculations using a touch screen? Not at all! Try the newly-added "brakes" button. By holding it down, you can move the cursor and slider with extreme precision.
Speed, accuracy, and a teacher right there with you.

This is a fully functional slide rule with all the usual scales. It’s easy to use and includes a tutorial on how to use the two basic scales. The pay version (Expert) has the tutorials for all the other scales. While I didn’t need the Expert version, I bought it simply because the free version brought a smile to my face and I wanted to reward the author.
A fairly complete slide rule
Has basic C,D,A,B scales, cube scale (K) and square root scales, natural log scales, trig scales. "Brake" function allows fine tuning movement of cursor or slip stick. A little hard to read for old guys not wearing glasses, but takes me back to the old days of ivory on bamboo (when I had better eyesight) Five stars for the price!
Overall this is a nice app. It has all the scales I like to use, and looks very clean and nice. The only issue is that when I pick my finger up after moving the slide, the slide jumps way off. (My guess is that the logic for flicking the slide is accidentally being invoked with my let-up touch events?) This, of course, makes it completely unusable to do even a simple calculation. I'll stick to my trusty Pickett N-600-ES for now. :)
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
