I Love PodRunner!
I'm not a workout junky. I actually need inspiration to get moving. This podcast gets me out the door. Its also great for doing chores. lol. I'm very happy with the podcasts, but I'm getting the app, because there is a lot of work that goes into this. There's a lot of candy apps out there that will take your $$ and run. This app gets you up and running, and its well worth the app price. I use it at least every week, if not two or three times a week. The only suggestion I have is rating podcasts or mixes, to see what the most popular are with the listeners, so we can all see and try them. Thank You PodRunner!
One of my most used apps
I hate working out, especially doing cardio. Podrunner has been the only thing that makes the cardio part tolerable.
Being able to speed-up or slow down the tracks makes for some pretty incredible music ("Hovercar" at 150bmp is pretty amazing). If you find doing cardio workouts a slog or you love them but want something to help push you along just a bit more, this is your app. It will rapidly become one of your primes.
Only recommended improvement would be to not use a slider for BPM selection but rather use the "wheel" selection widget
PodRunner vs Beatshift
I am not a fan of running. I've done Ironman Triathlons but dread the run every time. Podrunner made me hate it less. Once I tried Beatshift, it was over. What? I can take any of the tracks and set them to my running speed? SWEET! If I want to quicken my pace I adjust Beatshift and keep up. My times have dropped considerably and my distances increased quickly.
Don't get me started on the "Skip Intro" button! What? I luv ya Steve but being able to skip over your talking (before I am able to memorize it) is an excellent feature! Thank you!!
