*** Poke Radar for Pokemon GO is now free! Download the original, most accurate Pokemon Radar app! ***

Poke Radar for Pokemon GO is the most accurate assistant app for seeing the location of Pokemon in your area. Each Pokemon includes a despawn timer, a rating on how likely you are to find it there, and more. Pokemon locations are determined by our predictive algorithms that are based on verified, crowd sourced data from our users. We do not leverage or access the Pokemon GO servers.

Poke Radar also features chat and forums so you can talk to all the trainers in your area for free!

Using Poke Radar for Pokemon GO is extremely simple. You can view all of the nearby Pokemon in your area that have been discovered by your self and other players on the map, along with the times of day they were found.

If you're trying to find a specific Pokemon's location, you can quickly use the "Filter" feature to find the nearest one.

Since Poke Radar for Pokemon GO is driven by it's community, it's possible that there may not yet be Pokemon locations in your area when you first download the app. If this is the case, you can go out and mark the locations of Pokemon you've found to help other players in your area. When others view the location of the Pokemon locations you've marked, your trainer name will also be associated to aid your local trainer reputation. Everyone's gotta catch'em all - so why not work together?

All Pokemon location submissions have the ability to be "Upvoted" or "Downvoted" by others. If a submission receives too many "Downvotes" it will be automatically removed from the map. Highly "Upvoted" locations will receive display priority on the map.

Ads and Filters

This app is one of 3 that I use as a 'Minority Report' to see if a rare spawn is legitimate. Unfortunately the last 2 updates have been riddled with ads (despite the fix) and I end up going to the browser version instead. Which is fine honestly, but it's just inconvenient. Love the predictions on the whole, but would really like the ability to filter multiple pokemon. Also wish there was the ability to report users who frequently troll spawns, and a go-to button that one other app uses to immediately open the main game. All in all, I would give the website a 4.5, but the app in its current state is at best a 2.

PS: The predictions are not fool proof. A few weeks ago there was a mob run down the beach from Santa Monica Pier for a Charizard that was actually a Horsea. And while it was great for exercise, it was garbage for the prediction 'algorithm'.

Ads are ridiculously complex

I don't mind ads in a free app; developers deserve to make something for their work. However...

The ads in this latest version of Poké Radar are ridiculous. They cover the screen completely and it isn't obvious how to dismiss them. What's more, one click isn't enough to get rid of the ad! You have to go through THREE screens before it is gone completely. Even worse, sometimes it pops up again, less than a minute later—especially if you switch apps, like between Pokémon Go and Poké Radar, for instance. The ad frequency seems random.

I have been very diligent until now, reporting everything I could (though not always Pidgeys, Rattattas, and Spearows). Wish it it didn't take forever to scroll through the list, but I can live with it. This, though? It's too cumbersome. No thanks.

The Ads Kill It

Used to really like this app. Caught several rare Pokemon and some not so rare which allowed me to evolve. Unfortunately I updated it, and now the ads have completely ruined it. I'll see a good Pokemon and while pinpointing their location, and an ad will pop up. You can't just click X in the corner and make it go away, they last for a good 10 seconds when they pop up and make you wait through 2 ads back to back. I have missed Pokemon because of these stupid ads. Several dratini, a jynx and a magmar (!). Considering how difficult it is to find and then catch those, I can't use this app anymore. The ads make it useless. I've noticed it barely shows any Pokemon anymore, so I suspect a lot of other people quit using it too.
