How good a poker player am I? All of us who play poker should be asking this question of ourselves all the time. Do I do better at Hold'em or Omaha? At the local card room or online? On Tuesdays or Saturdays? Morining or evenings? Am I making more $ playing cash games or tournaments?
If we knew the answers to questions like these, we would know where, what and when to play to maximize our profits, and where we need to put some extra focus on improving our game. Without thorough record-keeping, it is very hard to answer these questions. With Poker Journal, it becomes easy.
Fully customizable for your poker play, you can configure the games YOU play, the locations YOU play at, the stakes YOU play for and more. Once configured, simply enter each session that you play. You can even set up defaults for cash games and tournaments so entering your data is very quick,
Poker Journal lets you see your data as charts so you can see how well you are doing. You can filter your data based on any of the fields in the data (game, dates, locations, tournament types, day of week, etc ) so you can evaluate your play based on these different criteria. If you would like more advanced analysis, you can export some or all of your data to your desktop to open in your favorite spreadsheet program.

Ratings and Reviews
I have been using this for roughly three years now. I record ALL my data in this program. This has saved me so much time, especially when it is time to do my taxes. Except for my mileage all my expenses, tournaments, cash games, etc are organized and ready. I love the filters bc I like to be able to break down each trip, month, location, etc. I also had some crashing issues but have had zero since the last update. And Michael has always responded to emails I've sent about questions and suggestions.
I would highly recommend this for anybody who takes their poker serious. But not for the fish (bc I really DON'T want them keeping accurate records). (-:
Been using this app for almost 3 years to track my winnings. Has if it will help me improve my game bilaminar me to analyze my performance in different situations (online versus live, tournament versus cash, long session versus short session, etc.).
I wanted lots and lots of data to analyze and this app delivered. Not the slickest user experience but more than adequate for analysis.
Docked 1 star because of infrequency of updates which are usually only to fix issues and not upgrade the app.
Michael golden, i believe i have a tweak to this app that would make it even better. It would be beneficial for players to see how much in cash we have rebought every individual time. Right now you have it grouped (ie. 3 rebuys = 340). This is because one might rebuy a different Amount with each consecutive rebuy , and this info is valuable. Please consider!
Great app for record keeping bankrolls. Most expensive app ive bought, and i recommend it.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
