Pretty good but could use tweaks

I run 3-4 times a week using this app. It’s pretty good, although it’s not always accurate. Picks up a lot of spikes (although I understand this may be a common issue with HRMs in general) and it loses connection with my HRM periodically. Keep the strap clean and change a lot of batteries and things seem to be better.

I love that this calls out stats at one mile intervals. I get my pace (not sure if it’s cumulative or the last mile), total distance and heart rate (again, is that cumulative, or it is last mile?). Wish I could choose which one it’s telling me.

I like the way this uploads my workouts into the polarpersonaltrainer web site so I have an ongoing log. The dropouts and spikes in my HRM mean I don’t always have the most accurate data but overall, I’m happy just knowing which days I’ve worked out and generally what I did.

Listen up!

After wasting lots of money on fitness trackers, I accidentally found this app which syncs with my Polar H6 Bluetooth heart rate sensor. This is AWESOME because for workouts it is very accurate. It tells you your heart rate, different zones, calories burned, distance and length of workout. Not to mention GPS tracking. It also has lots of different workout modes, like jogging, running, cycling, skings, biking etc. If you need just need something to track your workouts this is it. FREE APP plus the H6 is $30 on ebay.

If you really need to know how many steps you took or track sleeping then get a fitness tracker but this is FREE and it works very well with the Polar H6 sensor. Good luck!

The best exercise app period!

I have been using Polar Beat for over a year now and no other app comes close to the quality and data in this one. I have both the shoe sensor and the heart monitor and love the way it displays the dynamic graphs while working out. The summary history is excellent too. Other apps including Nike + don't begin to compare to this one. I know, because I've used them all.
