You must not be in violation of your wireless data service agreement, if any, when using Polycom RealPresence Mobile. Because some mobile network operators may prohibit or restrict the use of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) functionality over their networks, such as the use of VoIP telephony over a cellular network, and may also impose additional fees, or other charges in connection with VoIP, POLYCOM recommends that you check the terms of your agreement with the operator prior to any use of the RealPresence Mobile.

Removed features?


Latest update removes auto pairing with room systems? Why? Also the Home screen UI needs fixed. The text labels are cut off. Finally, please stop confusing people with the sign up/sign in screen upon first launch. Just let people use it and if they want to sign in they can do it later.

Portrait view


On an IPad the landscape only is very frustrating. The camera ends up focused at the side of the user’s face. Please give us the option to chose portrait.

Great first version App


The app works with the RMX 2000, connected to the CMA 4000 and did a direct recording to the RSS4000. Also connected to several HDX endpoints as well as to CMA Desktop Clients. Would like to see remote camera control, directory, a way to interface a Polycom Eagle Eye with the iPad so I can have remote camera control from the video coming from the iPad.

I also used cisco vpn client to connect to work network to connect to CMA, that worked as well.

Great start with the first version, thank you Polycom!! Keep the updates coming quickly!
