PolyFauna is an experimental collaboration between us (Radiohead) & Universal Everything, born out of The King of Limbs sessions and using the imagery and the sounds from the song Bloom.
It comes from an interest in early computer life-experiments and the imagined creatures of our subconscious.

What's New in Version 1.0.3
Gyroscope bug fix
In typical Radiohead style, this is very trippy, very ambient, and very complex. Unless you're a devout Radiohead listener, the true beauty of this may elude you; however, if you can grasp some of the complexities of their music (primarily the lyrics of Thom Yorke, as they offer a bit of insight into his mind, off which this app is likely based), you can begin to appreciate it. I've followed Radiohead's every move for years, listened to every song, listened to and read influences on their songwriting, etc., and I still don't get this fully—which is why I love it so much. Every time I open the app, it's a new experience: a new corner of my mind. I've never tried acid, but I'm sure it's similar to this. I highly recommend this, especially with the music playing.
AMAZING!!! MIND BOGGLING
This app, it appears to be very simplistic...but it is so complex. So basically, you float around in the deep wretches of what is described as your subconscious mind, and every line you recreate represents a fictional creature that exists in our minds. It's hard to understand the meaning of the monsters...but the interesting part is that it's made by Radiohead. Crazy right? Here's how I see it. If you listen to Radiohead's music...the app would give you a visual representation of how their songs would "look" if they where symbols or shapes, and it does fit in. Who knows what the real meaning is...but I love this app, it's relaxing and you really get nailed to it after a while. I recommend it to all Radiohead Fans!!!!
When I first saw this app and its reviews, I thought, "Wow! Sounds curious." Turns out, I was right. From the amazing graphic design to the unearthly yet epic gameplay, PolyFauna has proven, so far, to be a brilliant game. I recommend this app highly.
I only have a couple recommendations. One, can you add obstacles or enemies or something of the sort, Like a survival mode? And two, can we have weapons to defend against enemies and (I am going out on a limb here) build living quarters?
Thanks for your consideration and for the magnificent app. I cannot wait for upcoming updates and new additions. Great job on this app!
