Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Cult movies, comic books, indie rock, sci-fi, '80s greats, sweet links, general weirdness -- this is all the stuff of Pop Candy.
Whitney Matheson writes about what she loves in pop culture, and she tries to get to it before everyone else dives in, chews it up and spits it out. Wanna know what new series to DVR tonight? Which bands are worth the iTunes splurge? Is there a toothpaste that will keep your mouth plaque-free? (OK, so she can't help you with everything. But she tries.)
In addition to daily posts, Pop Candy delivers exclusive interviews, Twitter updates, music, video and other features. But really, it's the community that completes Pop Candy: As you'll discover, it's a very friendly place with many diverse and knowledgable people. Together, readers party at meet-ups around the country. They create comics and things. They get to know each other virtually.
Feedback and story tips are always welcome at email@example.com.

Love The Blog. The app... Not so much
The app for iPhone and iPad is a bit wonky. The blog ( for both) takes a really long time to load , or times out and doesn't load at all. There is an option to refresh, that had never worked for me.
Since I started using this app, I've lost weight, increased my IQ by 50 points, and my erectile dysfunction is almost completely gone. Thanks, Whitney!
Long time pop candy reader/listener. Come to Denver for a meet up Whitney!
