Pop is simply a convenient place for writing things down — that piece of paper you grab to write when you have an idea. It doesn't help you do anything smarter or more organised.
'Copy All' and 'Read' are the primary features, to make it easy to use your words or read uninterrupted. Anything else seems to add a little more noise, a little less focus. Sometimes you don't need more features.
The emphasis on Copy All and Paste your way out encourages quality and focus. If the words aren't worth a copy and paste, clear the page.

Ratings and Reviews
I give you 5 stars for such a fabulously poetic and imaginative review! 3 stars to the man that made “less is more” amazing when it came to a paper writing app. However, it takes 3 years to download anything sooooo, do us fans a favor and update this software!! Stat. I don’t want to write on a napkin with a marker like your newer app...I want to write eloquently on this blank piece of perfect paper, gosh darn it!
WHERE ARE YOUUUUUUU.....
Why hast you cast us aside/asunder/under the bus?
OR...art you a singular perfect app...for which I want...twerth it ta pay I say...
Shall there be no further contact?
No update future?
...why buy you anyway?...no more of your apps! Be gone...nay...ck in good lord (from comma freak)
We'll hang in...
Wonderfully simple app with one huge flaw
This is a wonderfully simple app that does pretty much what it says... You launch it (like taking a piece of paper out of your pocket) and start writing. That's it. No saving to DropBox, iCloud or any local files. This makes it super simple and fast like carrying an index card and pen in your pocket.
Here's where the huge flaw is: to achieve this simplicity, the app never saves to any files. I found this out when my three year old daughter got a hold of my iPad and started launching every kids app on there. I think Pop for iOS was killed off due to being out of memory so I last everything I hadn't saved off anywhere else yet.
Anyone using this app needs to realize it is meant as a temporary scratchpad, not permanent storage.
To the developers: please please update this app to save the notes to a local file so if the app or devices crashes no data is lost.
If you want something similar to Pop for iOS but with a little more permanence check out OnePad. New app, similar goals - simple and you just start writing. Only difference is OnePad gives you a page a day of plaintext notes and syncs with iCloud. It also has a search.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
