What's New in Version 3.1.14
- Fixes for iOS 8 & iPhone 6
Do not use this service. They don't help you whatsoever. Then your money disappears. You have both first-time users to do this. And you asked them to stop sending you double messages for charging you. They cancel you out not to use it again. But they say you can put in help and reenter the info. Well I did that and it rejected the original information saying I needed all the same stuff that I put in. They are a piece of work. It almost seems like they just want to keep your money even when you ask it to be sent back to your family member to retrieve it. Because now there's nothing to do anything with and I don't know what they did with it. They don't help they just want to keep billing you. The first time I put in my info it was excepted completely. But the bank was off by being called federal when it's credit union. And they won't even let you fix it. I personally think they're not worth the time of day. And I just like them very much for ruining my Christmas. And then not allowing you to use it again. They may not want business. So are you out there hear me. Do not waste your time with these people. They're only in it for the money and not to help us!!!!!!!
DO NO USE!!
Payment through this service is unreliable and slow at best. The steps of sending payment, depositing payment, and the payment being cleared takes a week - easily. For some reason my bank account information was "entered incorrectly" - this included eight 0's, which sounds like a hard thing to mistype - and so the bank wouldn't accept payment. Then the bank decided to accept it anyway, but Popmoney decided not to tell me that there was an account issue. Instead, when I went to move forward with a second payment, the same issue occurred, but this time my bank account was suspended. This was waiting a week just to verify the account, not even to start the deposit! After days of waiting for my account to be fixed and unsuspended, I still can't deposit the payment and I'm told that it's a glitch in the system and that "the programmers are working on it." "Glitch" and "bank account" are hot words that I like to hear together. Want to know the solution to the problem? Click on a random tab and then return home. Honestly, how can you run a business this inefficient? I'm furious with this company and will never consider using them again.
A Dangerous alternative to PayPal
I paid a seller using this service because they claimed they didn't have a PayPal account... Apparently, Popmoney is like PayPal's cheap cousin and offers ZERO buyer protection. Essentially, it's just a money transfer service like Western Union and once your money is sent, that's it. Untraceable. Gone. Apparently because of this a lot of people are using it for scamming. They don't even keep a record of what the money was sent for and unlike PayPal there are no fail safes in place if somebody just wants to steal your money.... If somebody asks you to use Popmoney over PayPal do yourself a favor and avoid!...
