One of the best mobile games—EVER.

Sarah's LaoLao

Like many of you—I came to this game (when there was only 1 server) early—like day 11–for the gems in another game. But I stayed for the game. And when Server 2 opened—I came aboard there as well. Graphics are very robloxian but in a sweet way and the story is incredibly witty with original characters having very well defined personalities. Deserves a 10/10 for game play. In the beginning purchases are not necessary except for the daily deal that is only $2.99/month. Later it is very helpful for advancement but still costs less than MANY games—how much you want to spend is up to you. If you have difficulty with updates—as I did on my iPad but not my iPhone—I merely uninstalled the game before the update and then reinstalled it after the update was complete—at first you start back at beginning but after playing for about 1-2 minutes game should suddenly say that it found other games already in play and then you’re OK. I must have started about fifty ftp games that quickly became pay to play but this is the only one that I still play a year later. Got my man friend to play and he dropped his other games as well. Good job, Per Blue

Favorite game... BY FAR!

I played to earn some diamonds in another game recently and almost 2 full months later, I’ve stumbled across my favorite game and there isn’t a day that I haven’t played Portal Quest since! I’ve truly even forsaken playing ALLL my other games. Seriously, I’m hooked! I like how there are different types of battles (some for personal gain, some for the guild, and some just to earn stuff). I’ll continue playing until there aren’t any more levels to beat, upgrades to be had, or hero’s to earn. 😉
I should mention that if one of the developers see’s this review; that you’ll collaborate with Apple and solve the difficulties that arise from your updates. It’s rather troublesome each time there’s an update because it doesn’t show up in the App Store and when it does, it isn’t recognizing it as having already been updated on your end causing delays that effect my guild due to me not being able to battle in the Fortress attacks or War.

Portal quest

Portal quest is an easy, laid back game, while also being an entertaining one as well. I’ve been playing for about ten minutes and already am level 10 without purchases. The game starts you off well set; 3 characters, 30k gold, 50 gems, and 2k extra XP points to level your characters faster. Wait to spend these items (optional) and Just do the main missions, go as far as you can, then go back and claim the awards the game gives, then repeat. Easy process, which calls for more entertainment. Don’t have to worry about being behind in the game or if you have to buy something. In-game purchases give you leverage but play your cards right, or in this case, characters, the game will do the work for you without money spent. So far this game is exciting, entertaining, and easy. Not recommended for people who dislike repetitiveness. This game includes PvE, PvP, and Co-op (guilds, guild missions, etc). Overall I give portal quest a 4+ star rating.
