Customer Reviews

Easy to use

Use JNVWS for 5 dollar credit, it'll knock down the price of what you purchase and upon use will give 5 bucks in return, a win win! Now on to the review, Poshmark is by far my favorite app to sell on. The layout is simple and easy to get the hang of, and there aren't unnecessary updates to it. The majority of sellers and buyers are cordial and I've never had an issue on either end with anyone all the times I've used the app; plus there's quite a bit of hard to find items on this here that make hunting for them a lot easier. Refunds, should you need one come in one to two days depending on when it was requesting the buying stage, and customer service isn't too terrible either. A few cons: The downside is that shipping remains the same no matter how small or light something is which I hope they change soon or at least give more shipping options for; paying six dollars for shipping on a necklace is a bit overkill. They also take a twenty percent cut from your sales which is understandable since they need to make money too, it just unfortunately means that people will often have to price higher on an item no matter how small, just to get a bit of money back. The kids clothing party, although helpful, needs to be expanded on for a greater range of items to be shared like junior items. Hopefully in the future they resolve this but as a whole posh is pretty great.

Shipping price is ridiculous.

I love the app, but since they have increased the shipping price, my likelihood to purchase items will definitely happen less, if at all. I'd be better off buying a brand new item than paying the cost of the item on Poshmark plus the cost to ship. I've actually referred this app to friends in the past BEFORE the shipping price was changed, but when they checked out the app, they told me that they hated the shipping price. Maybe you could consider shipping price options? That way, if buyers want their items quicker, they can select the expensive shipping cost. If not, they can select a less expensive one. You might even get more buyers that way...

Edit: I do understand that the Post Office has a financial part to play in this, and I appreciate and think that it's awesome that Poshmark covers a part of the cost, but I do feel as if folks are not buying as much or as often because of the shipping price. I buy as well as sell, and I've slowed down on buying items because of the shipping price. Plus, when you add in the commission taken out, as a buyer, I'm lucky to make maybe $3 or $5 on some items. The $4.99 shipping sales do help a bit, but that of course requires you to lower your prices even more, which again means you end up making even less of a profit. I still do love this app, but I do wish that there is a better way to deal with shipping and the prices...

Love Poshmark but it needs a few tweaks

I love the social aspect of Poshmark & the fact that even though you may be disabled you can still feel like your contributing to society & make money at the same time which also helps self esteem for ppl who are home bound. I've made wonderful friends on here & made quite a bit of money. I do think there should be shipping options as small items cost the same as large ones which causes us to raise prices therefore losing sales. There also needs to be a "Unisex" listing option as lots of items can be worn by either & you can only edit 3x's so sharing to both genders is out of the question after that. I also think buyers should be able to rate sellers. If we receive a bad rating for nothing we have no recourse & believe me, it happens. Another thing is all the spamming is getting out of control, non compliant listings & so many replicas it's pathetic to where you don't know what's authentic & what isn't. There needs to be more monitoring of this. Other than this... I love Poshmark & it's given me my life back to a certain extent. Thank you, Manish!
