Not really sure right now, but...
Every day I get a request to rate/give a review for PM even though I just started putting items in for listing. So far I have 30 listings, 242 followers, and no sales. Normally I would think it was way too early to contribute to a review, but they apparently want me to really badly, so...
I would not suggest businesses/boutiques trying to sell through PM. It's almost a full time job having to follow others, share your items as well as other boutiques', and adding inventory details is extremely inefficient...especially since you can only use the app on your phone or iPad rather than a computer. So every time I want to use an existing image, I have to go to my computer, move images for that item using either iTunes or iPhotos, sync my devices so that I have access from multiple areas. As previously having been a Web Dept. Manager for an eCommerce company, I can tell you it's taken me a lot longer to set it all up than I have the time for.
Somebody made a comment about having to pay fees but how else are they supposed to give pay employees, programmers, project managers, and system equipment to give us this service. Why does everyone think that everything should be free? Whoever this other company does the same thing for free, makes me wonder what hoops we as customers have to go through in order to sell there.
I'm puzzled by the negative reviews. I've had nothing but good luck with buying and selling items on Poshmark. The process couldn't be much easier. Before I enter the Poshmark app, I snap photos with my iPhone of all the items I want to sell. I then open the Poshmark app on my phone and start entering the info to sell the items. No need to transfer photos, since you can just choose them directly from the photos app. I find that detailed info and good pictures and fair asking prices encourage quick sales. I've been a member for about 5 months and have sold about ⅓ or more of my items. The fact I don't have to pay for shipping is great. And how can you complain about Poshmark taking a % of the sale? They are providing the seller with an easy platform. I usually just donate my clothing to Goodwill, who then sell them in their store. I might as well take the time to sell some items (designer brands especially) and get something for them. I list when I have time and don't worry too much. If things don't sell, I will give them away to friends or donate them. Win, win, win all around.

The reason for the one star rating is due to the poor customer service this company has. Good luck trying to contact their support staff due to them not even having a contact number. The only way to reach out for help is through email with this company. When you have a problem with a sell or purchase it can take about 3-4 days for them to contact you back, how frustrating is that? When you make a sell Poshmark automatically gets 20% of your sell. So say if you sell a bag for $500 Poshmark automatically takes $100 out of that transaction and you will receive $400. Once the funds are released it can take about 3days before it is placed into your account. The buyers have to pay a $5.85 shipping fee minimum regardless of how small the item may be. If items exceeds the $5.85 shipping fee then the rest of fees to mail the package comes out of your money from your sell. If buyers open a case against you, your funds will not be received until the case is closed. Poshmark sometimes will not release YOUR money for the sell and buyer can keep YOUR item. I will no longer be doing business with this company.
