The only thing new in this version is for new customers, which is unlikely to be you unless you're reading this in the App Store, in which case you'll want to pay attention: we've partnered with Apple to give you your first delivery free when you pay with Apple Pay! Which is what you should be using to pay for Postmates anyway!
Apple Pay is super super fast and our Growth Team here tells me it's "good for new user conversion rate" or something, but to tell you the truth nobody here really cares about what they have to say about anything. We don't even know if that's English they're speaking. I just know Apple Pay is fast and rad so you should use it!

The worst.
I really wanted to like postmates and tried ordering food here a handful of times. 4/5 experiences have resulted in nightmare situations. I 've tried emailing them every time they fall through. I even got their secret number and called them, because I thought that if they had known what had happened, they would surely fix it. Right? Wrong.
I order lunch for my office of 10 every week day using postmates or a similar service. Each time I ordered from postmates, something has gone wrong. They spilled my food in the bag. They brought 8 orders instead of 10 because the restaurant ran out of chicken (are you serious? Why wouldn't you let me know so I can order something else.) They undercharged me. They were an hour late. Today, they cancelled my orders altogether when it was too late to order somewhere else in time for lunch. Whenever I let them know how they fell through, they refund me money for the missing orders and give me delivery credit. I don't want a refund. Please deliver my food to me. Its the worst thing to sit at lunch and not have enough food for everyone. Plus, it's absolutely infuriating having to figure out if the sponsors for our food were charged the right amount and if they received the right partial refunds.
Only order from postmates if you don't mind your food not coming. I will not use them again.
These people are out to steal your money.
Placed an order..an hour later it showed the driver was finally arriving..then all of a sudden the order was cancelled cause the order was damaged while being transported and I got my money back..still wasted an hour, but no big deal, I ordered again. It took another hour. This time as soon as I got the texts that the driver was arriving I went down and stood outside. My phone was on silent so I missed the phone call from the driver. I noticed the missed call and called back a minute after but could not reach him..then all of a sudden I get an email saying I was charged the full amount for my order but that my driver and I were unable to connect. So I guess the driver got some free food while I wasted over two hours and lost about $40...and there is no way to call anyone to explain what happened. You can only correspond via email..and they were not in any mood to help me out. I will never use this app again and will definitely not recommend it to anyone.
Frustrating and unreliable
After placing my order for delivery from Postmates I received several communications from the nice delivery person. The first was when he went to pick up the order. He stated that location was closed but a sign directed him to a nearby location. Then he called again from the 2nd spot. He was with the owner/chef of the restaurant who got on the phone to assure me that they do not offer take out and had never signed up with Postmates. He was apologetic and polite but really this was not his fault. The whole waste of time and badly managed order is because Postmates continues to list restaurant that are either closed, don't deliver or have changed their menu. Not sure why you do this - rather than promote business you just leave your customers and delivery people frustrated.
