Preschool - Animals and their young - Pad Version
By Nth Fusion LLC
This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
****App has been chosen for Apple's "New & Noteworthy" section **** Can your kid tell "What a baby Skunk is called ?" If you didn't get that, baby skunk is called a "Kit". Animals are mostly known by their adult names. Through this app kids can learn adult animal and offspring names. This helps kids in their early foundation years to learn about animals & their babies. This app covers 47 different adult animals and their little ones. Kids can also learn spelling of animal names. This app contains beautiful illustrations of Adult animals and lots of cute looking baby animals. In our next update, we plan to add animal habitats and animal sounds as well. Thanks for your support and continue to provide us constructive feedback.
Great for special students
This is a great review for my students. Part of the curriculum is identifying baby to it's adult match and this has given my students another hands on approach instead of the card files I have and the puzzle I have.
I think that most kids would find this boring after one or two times going through it
Flash card format- you will need to tab through the photos using an arrow button to see each one, I like how you can flip back and forth between adult and young for each animal. I would love to see some kind of drop down menu so it could be used as a quick reference. I'd also like to see an adult VoiceOver / clearer articulation.
Simple, cute, easy to use
This app displays flash cards of animals. An icon at the bottom of the card can take you to the adult or baby version of that animal. The app also speaks the name of the animal once it displays.
