Positives about the app: more decent paying options for secret shopping.
Negatives about the app: timer is off occasionally such as when I want to do a McDonald’s shop it offers it during the lunch or dinner time, but then doesn’t give you enough time to complete it the next day during breakfast. It’s only giving a four hour window to complete a breakfast shop but doesn’t make it available until lunchtime. When I try to put a help ticket in regards to this issue the submit button does not work and there is no stop ticket created. Cannot find any other way to contact Presto shopper to let them know there is an issue. I will probably continue to keep checking to see if the issue is fixed but at this time I can no longer use the app because it just keeps wasting my time. I’m not going to go through with a shop and have it at the wrong time of day specified and not get paid for it.

Thank you for your feedback. The contact information you are seeking will be located within the shop guidelines as the times and such for the shops are determined by the mystery shopping company directly.

Great when it works!

Constantly losing out on shops because the app will show them and once you pan over to another spot, they go away. Then sometimes come back later if you’re lucky. OR you select to do one shop and start to plan a route, all for them to disappear and not able to complete a route worth taking. Always having this issue and you guys haven’t had any updates in over a year! This isn’t ok. Also, it keeps saying I need to have a valid email. I do and have been. Your systems should be able to recognize who does and doesn’t have an issue and properly contact them.

If you see a lot of Presto pins, and suddenly they're all gone, there are a couple of possible explanations:

The program may be over. Many programs have end dates, and a program can also be manually stopped at any time.
All the shops may have been claimed.

But wait -- how can all the shops have been claimed if you just saw a hundred pins on the map???

Here's the answer: just because you see a hundred pins, doesn't mean there are a hundred shops. In Presto, a client can have a program for 50 total shops, but they have a hundred different locations. They don't care which locations get shopped, and just to make things more complicated, let's say they don't even care if the same location gets shopped more than once, as long as they get their 50 shops. So here's what happens:



The program goes live, with 50 shops to do, and you see 100 map pins, because shops are available at 100 locations.
The first shop gets claimed...and you still see 100 map pins! Why? Because there are still 49 shops, any of which can be claimed at any of 100 locations!
The second shop gets claimed...and you still  see 100 map pins!

(the details of shops 3, 4, 5, etc. through 48 are left as an exercise to those who really like singing "100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall")

The 49th shop gets claimed..and you still see 100 map pins!
The 50th shop gets claimed...and all the pins disappear from the map. BOOM!


But I saw the pins COME BACK! What's up with that?


Map pins can reappear if all shops are claimed, but then some shops are not completed in the allotted time. Remember, it only takes one shop to do this! If one shopper fails to complete their shop on time...we're right back at step 4, with 49 claimed shops and one shop available -- at any of 100 locations.

Bp shops. This app is horrible

The BP Gas locations were put on presto and it doesn’t seem that the app could handle the load. On my first stop I messed around with presto for over two hours and finally had to abandon the shop and the rest of the shops that I had planned I should have been done within 30 minutes. It has been a continuous rebooting of my device, delete and reinstall Presto As it gets stuck on a loading page or just won’t work at all. You cannot submit shop while on location because it will not save pics thus causing a back log of multiple location photos that all look alike ...,,SHOPPERS BE WAre. If you erroneously upload two of the same images for the Bp’s then your shop will BE REJECTED AND YOU WONT BE PAID. the computer is set to catch such things as bp wants all unique pics for each question but obviously the computers can’t catch human error. So if you go out on a large route you may get totally screwed out of being paid for some mistakes that could be fixed with human editors. Good luck with this one !!
