Wear the clothes from your Shoppe by changing clothes in your Closet. Use new clothes and pianoforte notes to Make Haste in Hertfordshire. Complete all the accomplishments in Hertfordshire to win the game.
1. Play your pianoforte.
Tap the Pianoforte tab, if the pianoforte is not already visible. Guess the number of the next note in the song.
Tap the key that matches the number. The numbers above and below the note symbol are clues. The note symbol indicates how long the note should last before the next note should be played. Each correctly played note generates a value that can be used to Make Haste in Hertfordshire. This value is displayed at the top left of every screen.
2. Make Haste in Hertfordshire.
Tap the Hertfordshire tab, if the list of accomplishments is not already being displayed. These accomplishments are from Elizabeth Bennet's life in Pride and Prejudice.
Tap the Make Haste button to make progress toward completing an accomplishment. Each accomplishment requires some pianoforte practice and some clothes ranking. It also generates fortune that can be used in the Shoppe. If you have the value of practice and clothes rank listed on the task, you can complete that accomplishment. The fortune is displayed at the top right of every screen.
3. Trade in your Shoppe.
Tap the Shoppe tab, if the clothes picker is not being shown.
Select the item that you want by flicking the picker. There are sleeves, necklines and skirts that can be mixed and matched to create a large number of gowns. Keep in mind long sleeves were for mornings spent indoors. Short sleeves were for company and very short sleeves were for balls and other formal occasions.
Tap the Trade sleeves button to buy a pair of sleeves that you don't own.
Tap the Trade neckline button to buy a neckline.
Tap the Trade skirt button to buy a skirt.

I’ve played this game for two days and still don’t understand what I’m supposed to be doing. And yes, I’ve read the directions.
