Customer Reviews

Great Deal if you have AMZ Prime

A great app especially if you have Prime. I don't like the fact that they recently removed the unlimited storage option for non-photos but hey.
Why did I knock down one star, through various builds the app has been updated for the better (save for the backup ALL photos or none release). The latest release shows all files queued up to upload. Doing so I noticed that I deleted pictures and videos from my phone that were never uploaded. I assumed they were but now all I see is the broken file waiting to be uploaded. Luckily I believe I have locally saved backups that I can attempt to upload but if you don't double check your upload queue.

Great app, but missing some features

I love that Prime users get unlimited photo storage. The albums and their organization is nice as well as the ability to tag faces in photos and see photos based on a person. It would be great if the app supported apple's live photos because as soon as they are uploaded I lose that feature. It makes me not want to upload and delete my local stored photos at all. It would also be great if there was filtering and sorting for hidden photos, or the same features for the non hidden photos.

Edit June 20th 2017: Live photo support was added!

Why use anything else if already Prime member?

I save money using this app. I no longer need to rely upon or pay for iCloud storage of photos. Instead photo automatically go to Prime photos for $0 additional cost. Plus, I can delete my camera roll to save space on my 16GB iPhone 6. I recently took 1463 photos over 13 days in China with my iPhone. Well over 16GB but Prime Photos App made it easy!
