A Wasteful Problem App
This app sometimes prints pictures well. But when trying to print an article from Safari web site, there is no way to get it done. There is no preview so I end up with 10 pages printed with 4 for the article I want and 6 of the photos with web links at the end of the article. I can adjust the page range but without a preview this is useless. Then comes the result. The 10 pages it just now printed included very small window of text on 8.5x11 paper and only 2 pages of text. It skipped the bulk of the article and went to the picture links at the end. This turned out to waste not only paper but a lot of ink and time and I still don't have the article I need printed. The end result is I still have to email the link to the article to my pc where I can preview and get only the pages I want printed. These pages will be printed at full scale on the letter size paper without the absurd waste of this app. Since all you can do properly with this app is print photos, don't waste money on it and just use the ios print function.
I use this app with my iPad Pro and the Canon Pixma MG 7120 wireless printer set to access point mode (which allows you to easily wirelessly print images from your iPad on the printer). I use this for my live event iPad portraits in professional situations and highly recommend the app. It gives you the ease and flexibility of determining whether you fill your paper borderlessly or fit the whole image onto a sheet and gives you a handy visual preview of what the result will look like so there are no cropping surprises. The app is well designed, efficient and reliable. It is my go-to app for printing from my iPad. I also use it in classroom situations where students can easily print directly from their iPads too. I couldn't ask for more and highly recommend it.
Let's me print to any networked printer whether AirPrint or not. It gives a preview and more control over size, page range, and orientation than the native print option, so I prefer using this app even on AirPrint printers. The extension that now shows up when you tap the action button (in safari, etc) makes it easier to print from other apps. You then have the option to print as-is or launch the app to see a preview and adjust settings. I use this app all the time at home and family members' houses. Everybody has different printers and it's equally as easy to set up and use on all of them. (It's also nice that they have a free version so you can make sure it works with your printer before you buy.)
