Unique and amazing word game
This game is really intelligent and challenging.
It works like this, you take turns with your opponent (each adds a letter) and the main objective of the game is to avoid spelling words at the same time that you try to make your opponent spell one. It has a lot more to it but this is the very basic idea.
If you like word games, definitely buy this one!
I would like to suggest one thing though, it would be great if the game could also be controlled only by the keyboard (you wouldn't have to use the mouse to select "Challenge" or your items if you didn't want to).
Not very challenging
This game is not challenging enough. I beat the game in my first sitting. The next morning I finished the rest of the achievements. The opponents become slightly more difficult as you progress, but only because they have better weapons and defenses. They do not get any smarter. I thought by the time I reached the end, I would be combatting with a lexical genius. I was wrong. I won many rounds that I should have lost. In fact, I have never lost a round. Not even when I had made a huge mistake and I was sure that was the end of me. The computerized opponent wasn't smart enough to catch it.
I might recommend this game to children or teens who haven't acquired such a broad vocabulary, but for a literate adults, it's disappointingly easy. Word whizzes will find it a breeze.
What a great companion for all word gaming fans!
I love this game. I'm a Scrabble and crossword hound and this game is a different and fun take on word games. The game play so far has been really good and tests not only your vocabulary but makes you think strategically. I want to see a multiplayer version as well as the addtion of different dictionaries to put this a really put this game over the top as a "serious" word game. Buy it! You won't be disappointed.
Keep it up guys!
