Customer Reviews

It's epic, and NOT hostage-ware!

Does it take great images and make sense? Yep. I've had one crash on my iPad Air 2, but that's the only time I've had an "issue." Also, the IAPs are merely for donations, and you can even vote for changes you're interested in. I'm more about video, and use DJI Go with my Osmo Mobile, but Mavis a lot. I wanted a new app for RAW sensor data, and this one had a very interesting UI look. I saw another app referenced in a review video of the iPhone 7 as a "replacement" for a DSLR, and found it to need too many IAPs. According to a couple reviews, you can "unlock" IAPs via ratings and reviews. Lame.

If you want to use RAW, make sure you have an application that can work with it. I have Photoshop CC and Lightroom, but there are a lot of others that will work. Very cool stuff.

Best photo app I own!

This photography application is by far better than Apple's photo app. It allows you to choose 16x9 aspect ratio! Apple's app does not and puts black bars on the top and bottom, this is 2015 Apple, get with it... I love how you can focus the light source and get a better photo. You could actually do HDR this way. Taking a HDR image with this app would be a nice new feature.

For Christmas I got a selphie-stick. It connects via the headphone jack and works perfectly with Apple's built in camera app, however when I try to take a picture with ProShot nothing happens. PLEASE make ProShot compatible. So many tourists are using selphie-sticks today I'm surprised ProShot does NOT work with them. This should not be difficult.

This app is great. My only problems with it are that occasionally it bugs out and I have some 4K videos that are really big (10+ GBs) and it bugs out the app for a minute or two when passing them in the video/photo review area. I love the time lapse feature the video that I was talking about above that I shot over 8 hours at night in a trip to Chicago. The main reason I bought it was so I could control the shutter speed for green screen work as I do not have the money as a amateur to buy a fancy dslr. I have not tested it with a green screen yet but when I have I will update this review to say if it worked.
