Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
The only app to assess both the heart rate and blood oxygen saturation without peripherals. It simply uses the iPhone camera and flash. For fitness and recreation.
- Assess pulse and blood oxygen saturation
- History of previous measurements
- Swipe for Label selection
- Tilt for Data Chart
- Designed for iOS 7
HOW TO USE
Start the app—wait for calibration—cover the flash and the camera lens with your fingertip. The app will show you two progress bars and a data curve while measuring.
Tilt the phone into landscape mode from the results page in order to access the data chart.
Works best with the dual flash iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5. iPhone cases need to be removed. Does not work on iPad or iPod. Not for clinical use.
What's New in Version 2.0.2
If the app crashes when tapping "Results" please remove it, then reinstall from the App Store.
I am getting ready to be released from a nursing home with acute COPD. This app gives me the same readings as readings taken here. I see there have been updates since the last review, thank goodness, as I almost didn't get it. It does not work on iPad but works beautifully on iPhone 4S.
Cute but doesn't work!
I really thought this would be a great app to add for my running and exercise routine. I didn't mind paying the extra money for it. But my results always come out the same. Resting heart rate of 52-56 and O2 of 90%.
I have a professional Oximeter and my readings are 62bpm and 98%. Still I hope that digiDoc improves their app and links it to other apps like RunKeeper.
Great start, but not so great now
I'm on oxygen so I knew I'd post a low number, and this app identified a low number for me. It also said that my wife and child had very high numbers--no surprise there. But I checked myself several more times and it had me in the high 90s, which is an impossibility for me when I am not on supplemental oxygen. For four bucks, I expect better than this!
