Great game fun
I love HOG (hidden object games) , and this one did not disappoint. I am however, confused buy the reviews stating that there is no hint button and the puzzles can be completed with one click. First: the game includes a strategy guide that is quite detailed ( bottom right of screen) and there is a hint button that refreshes very quickly ( bottom left of screen). So there is help galore! Second: while I found many of the puzzles not to be new in concept they were still a challenge ( not pull your hair out scream and hit the skip button), some more than others...none required only a single click...unless you hit skip. The story is very dark and the graphics fit the storyline...not a complaint, just a statement. The graphics are wonderfully creepy and I found that this game actually had me thinking...." What do I do next". Well written. If I had one suggestion it would be that the bonus be longer.
Love this puppet series
Although dolls have always creeped me out, I love this series because it's dark with whimsy. The adventure is fun with a good story even though the clues to what is needed tell you what to find. Finding them is harder. My masochism enjoyed no hint button as it forced me to look and think differently and not give in as quickly. Only used the guide when I felt really stuck (then said "oh of course"). HOS were somewhat easy as I could tap find most and tap about randomly, but there was always at least one that I had to pinch open the scene to find. Complaints I read were probably do to needing to place the objects in just the right location for them to work; it can be frustrating or challenging especially when you second guess yourself and need that object to work to move on. Graphics are great- love the wind (another childhood fear). Fun to play when ones brain needs a change. Thanks. Where next?
These Puppetshow games are top of the line. Smooth operation, stunning graphics/artwork, great strategy guide, cool storyline, music --- it's all good. It's everything we hidden object adventure gamers look for in an immersive game. The prices are, however, absurd, and Big Fish is accruing some rather nasty karma. Hopefully they'll figure out soon that we deserve better than outright theft. Interestingly, in the game - the price of the "inexpensive" puppets and dolls is $6.99. Well, BF, dolls are collectors items, you can hold them, they last forever, they are handed down in the family. Your games do NOT compare. Your joke was on you. Otherwise, the game is great and I recommend it. Its only flaw is what I call sneaky hidden objects - shadows, silhouettes, tiny graffitis, things faded into invisibility, its supposed to be "objects", not shadows. Thus I took off one star.
