By far the worst player app on the ‘store. It’s really just a drm protection proprietary player for copywritten content, and it’s messed up very badly. I would say that any vendor who uses it is only doing so because it is one of the cheapest available options, I have been going around with their tech support for a full month. They keep asking the same questions over and over and take no action to fix the problem. Airplay does not work for my iPad to my Apple TV. I have used airplay from multiple sources all over the Internet on all kinds of websites and had zero problems streaming it from my iPad to my Apple TV. It is this player and only this player that is unable to do this. I would advise them to completely re-write this player and stop making it available for download until the problems have been ironed out. I think the content providers who use this player should drop it.
Not so great
I use this app to watch shows from my Gaia subscription offline. I don’t have trouble with the downloads, but I can’t get them out of my library even after I delete them, which means I have to sort through shows that aren’t even on my device. The online instructions do not match up to the screens that are available on the app either. I contacted purple support and they said they could delete the shows if I would send them my registered email. I did and then I got crickets from them. No further response from “Jennie” at tech support and the shows are still there. Terrible app. Terrible customer service.

Now if only they could find another company to handle their digital, I'd be a completely satisfied customer.
I've downloaded these videos a total of 10 times (no exaggeration) in the last month and a half b/c they keep randomly disappearing.
This is horrible for me especially due to our current internet situation and not having broadband so I have to download other places in order to not eat up data.
On top of this, even if the videos are downloaded, they wouldn't allow me or start playing them unless I was connected to wi-fi. They would just continue to look as they were loading even though they showed up in offline mode.
Horrific App! So grateful to have the DVDs, just wish I could play on mobile devices for long trips.
