This is a version of the Pyramid Solitaire card game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Pyramid Solitaire is similar to another game called Tut's Tomb.
Move all the cards to the Foundation (upper right). When the 'Relaxed' option is on, you only have to move all the cards on the table (tableau or pyramid) to win.
Only the exposed (uncovered) cards on the table may move. You can move cards to the Foundation by dropping a card on another, exposed, card. If the ranks combine to 13, both cards will move to the Foundation. Kings, being rank 13, move to the Foundation immediately upon being touched.
You may go through the Stock 1 time, 3 times if the 'Easy' option is on.

A 1st grade education is all that's needed to play the game: the sum of two numbers equals thirteen. Winning requires a modicum of strategy: keep something of a balance in number of cards still in play between the pyramid and draw stack. Don't let one deplete well before the other. That requires a little memory and strategy. While the game is easy to play, the developers have produced a good looking, easy to use interface. Again, Pyramid is a nice, stress-reducing diversion. If pyramid stresses you, take a nap, :-).
ONE PROBLEM: I was listening to background music, then opened this MobilityWare game, only to have its built-in loop take over. I'm knocking one star off for their making their noise dominate.
Fun, simple game!
This is a great little app. No bells and whistles, but you don't need that to play Pyramid anyhow. I do wish it would let you match up two cards that are stacked on top of each other in the pyramid, though - say you have a 9 in the very front row and a 4 right behind it to the left. You can't match those two, and in other versions of Pyramid I've played, you can. Not sure what the "official" Pyramid rules are or what have you, but regardless, it would be a nice touch to an already good game!
I love pyramid solitaire
I've been playing this game since I learned it as a teenager. It teaches you combinations which are great in Math (in school and college). Combinations that equal 13. This is a great version of it. I find it very relaxing, as I'm trying to go to sleep at night. I would recommend it to everyone who likes to play solitaire...taught it to an 85 year old woman, recently; she plays it daily now. Gotta go finish my game now! Enjoy! Rate: 5 stars. The best!*****
