Award Winning App

The earthquake alerts on this app is a few minutes faster than the USGS alerts used by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center here in Ewa Beach,Hawaii and the Hawaii State Civil Defense. The custom perimeters set by the app users allows you to view only the earthquakes that you deem important for your area and notifies you directly in the form of a tone & text message so that you don't miss a single notification while seconds count.
I strongly recommend this app if you work with the Department of Emergency Management for your city or the Civil Defense in your state or if you are a federally license Amateur Radio operator and need to pinpoint the location of the epicenter quickly to organize C.E.R.T. Teams and relief efforts for FEMA.
When time matters most, this is the app to have and take with you on your smartphone. It reports Moment Magnitude and depth of each earthquake so that you can make your own determinations of required actions and accurately pinpoints location of fault lines in the area of the earthquakes so that you quickly understand the cause of the earthquake itself. It also allows you to view earthquakes in a timeline of the last seven days to determine the amount of activity in the effected area of the quake. A must have app for those that prepare today so that they are ready for tomorrow!

My most important app of all!

I live in a region with a lot of dangerous faults. Therefore, I would Never be without this app! The app is perfect. There is an update you can purchase, but you don't need to in order for it to notify you of all of the worldly earthquakes and the magnitude, within seconds of the earthquake itself. You can, for a dollar and $.99 purchase an add-on so you can just classify one state or area for instance and choose between metric or English reading and unit measurements. I would pay $10 for this app if need be it is that good and that important to me! By no means are you forced or need this add-on. it's just nice and handy to have. once again I would pay almost anything just for the app itself.

I highly recommend... Get It!

Nice Ap

Have been using it for a month with no problems. Would be nicer for shoreline residents to have big quake warnings that sounded off an alarm in case a tsunami was generated. I'd just like and option for each alarm to be configurable with intermittent sound adjustable alarm till cancelled. A 7 on the big island isn't noticeable driving and there's only minutes to be on high ground. Not that the volcanoes being constantly active and flowing for over 20 years makes me think its altered anything unground while its altered major portions above ground hehehe. Could use faster more like instant notifications from reporting stations.

Wish USGS would send instant alerts instead of having lag times.
