Queue The Music
By PS Ventures Limited
This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
Queue the Music lets you set the songs you want to hear next without disturbing the song you are currently listening to.
The native iPod app does not allow you to do this which means you either have to wait until the song finishes each time to make the change or you have to disrupt your current song.
Perfect for parties, road trips or just being out and about with your music.
Queue the Music lets you edit your music queue by adding songs, albums, or entire artists on the go, making insertions and deletions to your queue at any time you want.
Move to a different part of your queue by simply tapping on the song title.
It really is very simple and all this functionality is provided in this free app.
User may also like 'Music Sync', an app that lets you play the same song at the same time acros multiple devices, perfectly synchronised.

What's New in Version 1.4
A few bug fixes around leaving and returning to the app
Dorky interface - but on the right track
It's weird - searching the App store for the name of the app as it shows up on my ipad (QueueMusic) turns up no results. I have to search for Queue Music.
Anyways, you can create a playlist, add songs from your itunes playlists (which to me is a feature lacking in the ipad Music app), and even rearrange the tunes... but everytime you want to manage the playlist, it loads up a new window to manage it. That seems kind of silly to me.
The interface is far from sexy, but the functionality is mostly there. It. Knowing how far along I am in a track, or being able to fastforward through a track would be handy, as I tend to DJ parties (but without the need for mixing or scratching). This app just isn't there yet, but it could be.
Great app but unfortunately buggy
I was looking for an app like this for ages - it is functional, does what it should do. Would be great for mixing itunes playlists (ie for minimal DJing) on the fly while the app plays.
One problem is that it's buggy: if, after playing two-three songs in a row without editing the playlist I bring up the editor while a new song begins to play and I start to reorder songs in the playlist, the music quite frequently stops playing! Very annoying, I'd give 5 stars otherwise but this makes the app unreliable for DJing purposes. Hope it gets a quick fix!
- please remove the limitation on the length of the playlist! Currently I'm unable to add more than 24 tracks; a typical night worth of DJing requires (with 1 sec inserted silences etc) close to 300 tracks.
- please please allow inserting the same track multiple times into the playlist. Adjusting for gaps requires adding short silent mp3 files which would typically reappear multiple times!
Needs a shuffle feature
The queue only goes up to 200 and the UI is pretty ugly.
