A simple and safe file renaming solution for everyone, with a beautiful Retina interface!

This Lite version performs the most common file renaming task: changes the name of your file and adds numbers so that the files will sort properly in Finder.

Simply browse for files, use our wildcard search, or drag and drop them into the app!

Renaming is fast and you see your changes as you type. "Simple Mode" allows you to type a new name and the rest is automatic. "Advanced Mode" gives you precise control over the numbering system.

Safety checks are performed before renaming to ensure that the new file names are legal and that there are no naming conflicts with existing files. You can rename the original files or automatically create copies with the new names.

You can also test the following premium features from the full version: search and replace, prefixes, suffixes, dates, case, file extension, photo and audio metadata, and RegEx search. To use these features you can purchase the full version or add them instantly as in-app purchases.

What's New in Version 4.6.3

This app is well worth the $4.99 full version! I have saved so many hours changing files names from one name to another and its all due to this wonder-app. Working in an environment where naming conventions are up in the air until some tells you what to name the files, you tend to just name it and then move on. Well when you finally do get the direction you need for naming, you have to go back and rename 100+ files and thats no easy task … at least until now… this app is awesome and Im so glad I found it and Im sure anyone needing to rename a ton of files will agree with me when they have the chance to try it for themselves

Easy and Fast

I was looking for a simple way to rename photo files - this works perfectly, although I had to spend 99 cents to get the Search and Replace option. I have tried other programs and spent at least 99 c for lite versions that did not have the string Search and Replace option. This program has the advantage that you can pick whatever features you need instead of paying for a bunch of features you don’t want.

simple yet powerful

I have only tried this for a short time, but so far I am pleased with the flexibility of options. Yes, I paid the $0.99 to add the “edit” package which allows replacing text, changing names, etc. My only “complaint” (or maybe suggestion?) is the “Rename” button is oddly placed in the middle of other option buttons. It took a minute to locate it after setting my actions. Probably should place it more prominently by itself :) I use this app to rename photos and ACAD files in bulk and it handles the tasks quite well.
