Too Early To Tell

Writing my comments just hours after installing this application; maybe my luck will change.

The organization and design of the installed application look promising. I’ve only had two problems.

My first problem happened after I spent 90 minutes working with text. I formatted, changed fonts, used custom colors, and found my text too close to the edge of text box. So I selected the text and increased the indent. The indent was too large and I decided to add a couple of spaces on each line instead. I selected the “decrease indent” and found an undocumented feature. Along with the decrease indent it also removes all of the text formatting. So much for the 90 minutes.

In what promised to be a more robust text formatting application I was surprised there was no ability to expand the character spacing as it does in Pages.

I decided to throw away my first attempt, clicked new > project and nothing happened at first. About 15 seconds later the application pulled itself to pieces with the only message a window asking if I wanted to submit the report to Apple.

I am willing to give it a chance, but my patience with this kind of stuff wears thin very quickly.

Sorry, this app was absolutly useless to me… I want my $9.99 back...

I just needed to update some web pages and I have used Dreamweaver in the past. After hours or trying to load or import anything it was simply useless to me. I ended up going in and editing the HTML by hand on the web server.

Perhaps this would work for someone who wanted to use one of their templates for a cookie cutter site. However, I am not even sure how you would upload it when you are done.

Granted, 10 bucks is not much, but I was not able to do anything of value for me with this app.
