Very good app, but needs some stuff
For example, I have a section in my library where I add slang words that I keep forgetting. I add to this list very frequently which leads to the list not being in a order that is manageable. Considering there is no search function to look for words or an option to automatically put the words all the words you added in alphabetical order, I am forced to search manually one by one through the huge list I already have. However, these options ARE available online. Please add these to the mobile version and you will make my life a whole lot easier, Quizlet. Besides that, this is an awesome flash card app that I would recommend.
Please add some Key Improvements!
I have been using this app for well over three years and I have many things to thank this app for. It is very helpful but I would like to see some additions. First off, please add a way to add a box for part of speech, for it would make things easier and save time when imputing vocabulary. Also it would be nice if there was a way to copy a whole set of words and definitions and add it to one of your own or mash together several of your own sets. Please let the users create classes and add a way of sharing sets!
Thank You and Keep Improving!
Using Quizlet to supplement Rosetta Stone
Quizlet is a great way to create flashcards and study on the go.
Cards are easy to create on the web or in the app and are easily edited. An entire set can be imported from a spreadsheet program. Your sets synch between the app and online format for seamless editing. I like that you can star the cards you want to practice.
There are several games, but the learn function in the app is my favorite. If you make a mistake, the app shows you the correct word for a second and then has you enter it again correctly. You keep trying until you get it right. This has been really helpful for me with practicing spelling. Unfortunately only the app has this feature. The web based version just corrects errors and moves on.
I've created a Quizlet set to practice Italian vocabulary as new words are introduced in my Rosetta Stone program. The picture cues in Rosetta Stone tend to be too easy. Quizlet is a good way to test myself.
