Radiolab is a show about wonder, curiosity and big ideas. Hailed by critics as “best radio show,” Radiolab presents a potent elixir of science and philosophy, first-person storytelling and radio theatre, all woven together with the most innovative sound design to ever spill out of the radio. Hosted by Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich and produced by WNYC, the show is heard on more than 300 public radio stations around the country.
The Radiolab app is all about curiosity, too. More than just a companion to the broadcast, the app is an extension of the Radiolab experience and its spirit of exploration, possibility and play.

Amazing podcast, poor app
Radiolab is a phenomenal show with intriguing podcasts, however, buyer beware, this app crashes constantly. Let's say you rewind 30 seconds too often, or if you close your phone while the podcast is open, the app will crash. I ignored the comments when I bought the app thinking it was a group of complainers, but seriously, Save your money and just listen online for free. The actual navigation of the app is very neat, but if you press the home screen on your iPhone, when you go to open the app again, it will crash. You must be patient to use this app!
I was hesitant to purchase this app after seeing the scathing reviews, but am so glad that I did! The developers must have fixed a large amount of the problems, because I have yet to come across any. I have yet to have the app crash on me, and I've listened to tons of shows thus far. The graphics are amazing and there are all sorts of fun areas to explore throughout the app. 10/10 would strongly recommend!
Content 5* app itself 1*
The podcasts are amazing and the fact that I have access to them all is fantastic, but there is the problem. It crashes constantly. I think it's too pretty and all the prettiness it holds is too much for it and it crashes. Searching for a new podcast, crash, every 10 seconds, crash. Unless I keep it open and give it time to load I might be safe. So I met in the middle of my 5 for content and 1 for crashing and gave it a 3. JAD AND ROBERT, PLEASE FIX!
