=> OPTIMIZED FOR YOUR MOBILE DEVICE
The app uses localized content with a layout that is optimized for your device's screen.
This means the articles can be viewed regardless of wifi/3G availability. And with very fast loading times!
=> RECEIVE UPDATES DIRECTLY FROM WITHIN THE APP
When new content becomes available it can be directly downloaded to your device: No need to sync with iTunes or to update the whole application from the App Store!
=== AND ALL DOWNLOADS ARE FREE ===
=> SUPPORTS FULL TEXT SEARCHING ACROSS ALL CONTENT
The app supports full text searching across all articles simultaneously, directly from the home screen!
=> FULLSCREEN DISPLAY FEATURE FOR HI-RES CONTENT
- AT FULL RETINA RESOLUTION !
Many article images have underlying hi-res versions available for detailed analysis of disease characteristics. The Radiology Assistant incorporates a fullscreen display feature that shows hi-res content at full Retina resolution, without leaving your place in the article; even when offline!
This allows for easier reviewing of large image-tables and for much better appreciation of subtle disease features on hi-res plain films or detailed drawings.
-> FULLSCREEN IMAGE STACK VIEWER
- AT FULL RETINA RESOLUTION !
Several articles feature stacks of images you can browse. The Radiology Assistant incorporates a fullscreen stack scroll mode that allows you to browse image stacks fullscreen, without leaving your place in the article; even when offline!

Existing users on 1.4.4: there is no need to update (doing so does not harm either): please run 1.4.4 (or 1.4.5) one more time.
New users: please download the Radiology Assistant 2.0 instead
Ratings and Reviews
This is an Update
Much improved !
1. Now, if you close the app, when you come back you are in the same place.
2.You can now scroll.
3. When you go from portrait to landscape mode, you still lose your place. However, you no longer go back to the beginning. Instead, you usually wind up a little earlier in the article.
I previously wrote:
1. If you close the app in the middle of an article, you loose your place. When you re-open the app, instead of going to where you left off, as in a book app, you start at the home page of the app.
2. Some images on the web site have multiple images to scroll through, i.e. in Brain Anatomy, the first image site 25 images to scroll through. On the app, you can only see the first image.
3. When you go from portrait to landscape mode, you loose your place and often wind up at the beginning of the article.
Still needs a major makeover!!!
Using it frequently... But it just bugs me to have to open the app again every time my phone locks... And major issue is while downloading for first time... I selected update all n it starts to download but if app closes midway ... I have to start from square one... No background downloading available... Gave up after several tries to update all... Should have update option in individual sections as well ... Will have to download individual articles each time or wait for an update( hopefully my previous downloads dont go on the update!!!!)
Nice app for a great reference site
I found the online website through google search and found several of the articles very helpful as they provide an algorithm in diagnosing and managing certain lesions in radiology. The app is very well done and the only hiccup I noticed was the app occasionally crashing when using the scrolling feature in the T bone section. The articles look great in an iPhone 5.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
