Too many tech issues
I have used reach now for over a year. It seems like with every update the app gets worse. Their connection to their server gets worse. I have needed to call in over 10 times just because their cars don’t completely end your trip. Car locks, light is green, but unless you open the app to make sure it’s ended you’ll never know - the car will put it in Park mode rather than end it. Then they take the money out of your account anyways, and refund you in days. They don’t offer recompense for their consistently buggy software, no refunds for trips, no free minutes despite having to call over and over to fix the same issues. And their cars aren’t always gased up! I’ve had to end trips immediately because a car was low on gas! They fix the issue and act like it’s no big deal, but don’t fix things for the long term. I only use them now very rarely, use C2G for everything - their trips automatically end when you’re done, what a concept. You’re a company that relies on an app, which takes forever to load btw, and yet how can you have this same issue for over a year?? Sorry but I do tell people to use you - maybe if you fix your tech issues (of which I have never called in to C2G for a tech issue, btw) I will use you more.
DO NOT USE THIS APP - shady business, unauthorized charges
This company shouldn’t have a business license. In fact, it probably doesn’t. They’re charged unauthorized charges of over $400 accusing me of being responsible for a towed vehicle, which I did not park illegally. I believe they’re pinning it on me due to the company’s mess up. This is just the beginning....
The. Worst. Car. Sharing. Company. Ever. I used to be a big proponent for ReachNow when it first started but then I had multiple issues in a row such as, the car not being where the app says it is, the car not locking when I complete the ride and therefore continually charging me, the minutes required to wait on hold while trying to get ahold of customer service (which is the only way to “resolve” any issues ever faced with this terrible app), the fake promo codes they never give you but promise to give you when all these screwups happen, then to tack it all on, if a car gets towed or a ticket, even if you didn’t drive it last, they pin it on you and unauthorizingly charge your credit card. This happened to me :) ... $400 being charged to my card without my authorization even though I’ve stated I am disputing this, because I DID NOT PARK WHERE THEYRE CLAIMING I PARKED. it’s insane that this company is even allowed to run a business. Extremely shady, nothing works, garbage. Stay away from this company.
This service is a joke
I reserved my first car, only to find out minutes later the app wouldn't respond anymore. So killed it and attempted to restart, but from now on it kept exiting while still at startup logo. I reinstalled the app but the reservation was gone and I wasn't able to reserve the same car anymore. Having two big pieces of luggage with me, I called the customer service. They reserved the car again, after obtaining permission from supervisor. Pressing the Unlock button in the app would show the "Attempting to unlock" dialog that did nothing. Or almost nothing - it unlocked the doors but not the car itself. So I called again. They had to restart the car computer, upon which... the reservation was gone and the car was obviously unavailable to me - even though I was already sitting in it (sic!). So I waited another few minutes to have them override the limitation before they were able to unlock the car remotely since the "Unlock" button in the app unsurprisingly did nothing. All in all it took me some 20-25 minutes to get going. I doubt I'll ever try their service again, given that according to other reviews these issues have been present for months so it looks like they are committed to the crappy software company that develops this app for them...
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
