Reading iRequest is the City of Reading's next generation non-emergency management system, which will be used to handle all municipal service requests besides police and fire. Loses place when reading reports
2/21- newest version has bug: after viewing a case and tapping to go back to the list of reports, the app defaults to the first report on the list all the way at the top (instead of the place where the most recently read case is) .
This app is hit or miss depending on the type of issue you're reporting. For example, reporting sneakers on wires always results in a very prompt resolution within a day or two. Graffiti is removed quickly too. Street lights is another story. Some of these reports seem to get marked as "forwarded to city contractor" without actually ever being fixed, no one will reply to the ticket, and they either get manually marked as completed by some employee or the app just assumes the work should have been completed by then. Some street light tickets sit as "received" with no reply for over a week.
