Description

Reading Queue helps you declutter your online reading experience.

Save your browser tabs, links, favorites, and pages you emailed yourself, that you plan to “read later” but usually never do, into an app where you can read them comfortably and efficiently, and that values your reading time.

A ZERO ANXIETY READ-IT-LATER APP.
Traditional read-it-later services always end up turning into long and daunting collections of page titles, where you cannot tell anymore what is worth reading.

Reading Queue removes the anxiety of decision making by arranging the pages you saved into a queue. When you open the app, it shows the first page immediately. From there, you decide to read or archive it before moving to the next page. Pages in your queue are less likely to be left forgotten because you review them all, one by one.

MOVE TO THE NEXT PAGE IN A BLINK. IT’S ALWAYS READY.
When you’re done reading a page, just swipe left. It will be archived and the next page will appear instantly. And because it was prepared in the background while you were reading, there is no waiting time between pages.

GET OVER PROCRASTINATION AND FEAR OF MISSING OUT.
When you would rather read something else than the first page in your queue, you can also snooze it and read the next one instead.

But an article you keep postponing reading may not be worth your time, therefore a page can be snoozed up to three times only. Then you should decide to read or archive it before reading something else.

Reading Queue also encourages you to let go of the pages you saved more than 30 days ago but haven’t read yet.

USE YOUR READING TIME WISELY.
The estimated read time helps you decide if that article is worth your time. Reading Queue gives you also the cumulative reading time of all pages in your queue, a more meaningful metric than the number of pages.

A MINIMAL INTERFACE WHERE THE CONTENT IS FRONT AND CENTER.
The dark, uncluttered interface brings focus and clarity on what’s more important: the web page. And it makes great use of the extra space available on the newest iPhones.

Regardless of your phone size, you can easily use Reading Queue with one hand. Tapping anywhere on the title bar at the bottom pulls up the drawer menu containing all available commands.

What’s New

Version 1.1.2

Fixed a very embarrassing issue where the third and last screen of the first-time experience was not displayed after enabling the share extension.

Smooth and easy to use!

I am always a little weary when it comes to apps that you have to click share to interact with it but not this one! This was simple to use, beautiful, and renders the page in a headless setting so more reading room! Love it!

No feature rot here

This is INCREDIBLE! I've had issues with Picket/Instapaper/Safari/Etc. in the past in terms of adding way too much to my reading list, causing what the developer refers to as “Pocket bankruptcy”. This is exactly exactly the solution I've been looking for. It’s super lightweight, and the UX is very well done. It jumps you in, gets you started right away, and keeps you focused on the task: clearing out your reading list. Thanks so much for this!
