Deserves Low App Rating
The content is great, as many other reviewers note. But the app is totally problematic. You can click on an article and it will crash the app or freeze.
Crash freeze does not happen in a web browser. And the really irritating thing I've noticed in this version is that articles by RCP authors are the most likely to fail. Go figure.
The content deserves an app that's worth four or five stars. RCP is letting its readers down. Badly.
Try to give benefit of doubt....but
Generally I try to give the benefit of the doubt on apps given that technology changes so rapidly. But this particular app - though I try to use it somewhat frequently - just does't cut it. It doesn't load the articles it refers to; it locks up; the drop down polls choice locks up; etc. etc. Sorry guys but this needs a lot of work - otherwise, save people the aggravation and take it off the market.
Love RCP, but This is a Bad App
I love the RCP website, but this app is poorly designed and very buggy. It is slower than the RCP website and Apple's reader in Safari is much, much better than the app's reader. The worst part is when the text for an article gets cut off. It us there on the website, but not in the app. I am back to using the website and much happier.
