What does “multiplayer game” mean?

What does “multiplayer game” mean? That term is used by your marketing people in two ways. Multiplayer game and multiplayer competition - does this mean that two player each have their own separate puzzle, under a timer, and they simultaneously assemble their puzzle, OR do two or more puzzlers assemble the same puzzle (same picture on a shared board) in a collegial way. I want to share a puzzle with my sister in a hospital, not compete with her in some foolish completion to beat another person.

Some clarity in your online description would help, related to the term “multiplayer”

Developer Response ,

Thank you for our question. We will consider refining the provided description to make it more clear.
Multiplayer mode means two (remote) players assembling the same puzzle picture with the same difficulty settings on two devices, each player their own copy of the game in a competition mode. The player who finishes first wins the multiplayer game. Currently the picture for the multiplayer game can only be selected from the built-in gallery.
If you would like to share a photo/picture with someone to play with you might send them any way and he/she can create a single-player puzzle game importing the received photo from the device's photo library. Unfortunately difficulty settings can not be sent this way.
We are thinking about adding a collaboration multiplayer mode feature where players don't compete against each other but helps each other in solving a puzzle. This can be already done when the two players play on the same device (preferably on an iPad) since the touch interaction logic of the game allows the players to grab and turn more pieces simultaneously.

Advertises free “configuration” trial but doesn’t actually work

I would have considered paying $2 for this game even though I’d probably only use it once, for the specific purpose I’m currently looking for. I like that you can configure the puzzle to a pretty complex level (more than 30 pieces is hard to find in apps!) but more importantly, I like that you can share with others. However, when I tried to do a basic configuration(only increased # of pieces, nothing else), I was met with the comment, “Configurations are for subscriptions only.” When I clicked back, I received another comment: “There is one free configuration trial…would you like to try?”
I tried, and was met with the same initial statement repeatedly.
I just wanted to see how the configuration worked, make sure the app didn’t crash, etc, and then you would have had my $2, in addition friends that would be humored by my efforts and would want to try it. Sad day. 😢

Cool but...

Nice game but it would be nice to have more than 1 puzzle to do without paying for it. Want more free puzzles.
