Horribly buggy, had to delete and request a refund
I bought this app for my son, due to his love for Red Ball 4. We had a fun time playing it the first night, but the following day found the app completely unresponsive. It would not accept any input; no matter where we tapped on the screen, it was completely frozen up. Force quitting the app didn't resolve it, rebooting the iPad didn't resolve it, the only thing that got the app working again was to completely delete it (losing all of our progress), and re-downloading it. I did this, and then after another 10 minutes or so of playing, we experienced the same issue again. I am playing on relatively new hardware and software (iPad 4th gen running iOS 8.2), and I find a glitch of this magnitude completely unacceptable. I have deleted the app and requested a refund.
To anyone considering the purchase - don't do it!! I'd recommend the (much better) Red Ball 4 (which is half the price of this game), or if you've already played that, you're better off just finding something else entirely.
If you have purchased the app and are experiencing the same issues (as a number of other reviews seem to indicate, many other people are), request a refund!! This can be done from Apple's website. Sure, it's only 2 bucks, but this developer does not deserve $2 for selling you something hat doesn't even work.

It is an ok game but there really is no difference in the objective of the game compared to the 1st and 2nd versions of red ball. This app needs a lot more levels for it to be worth $1.99!!! Also, there is an option where you can use your iPhone/iPod Touch as the remote for your iPad/Mac's red ball 3, but the remote, because it is wireless, is very delayed and thinks you are pushing buttons when you really are not. So I would rate this app 3 stars.
FIX IT!! Please!!
I can see from the reviews that this issue has been going on since at least mid September. I bought this game and my daughter and I really liked it but as soon as you shut down the game you can't ever play it again. You have to delete it and reinstall it and lose all progress you had. So the only way to get further than the first 4-5 levels is to never ever stop playing. It's ridiculous, please fix this. I'm also requesting a refund. H
