still the best, with one annoying bug
I've used Reeder for years and it remains the best RSS reader for the Mac.
One bug that seems to have been introduced lately: With unread items in multiple folders, select one of the folders other than the last one. Now page through the items by hitting 'J''. When you jump to the last folder, the list items don't update. You have to manually select the folder to read the items in that folder.

I use news readers as for data mining. So I need fast access to my feeds. Reed 2 has all the bells and whisles but is a memory hog. I have 12gb and I am always forcing it to quit since it always stops responding. Support does not provide support. So if you need a app that can only run with no more then 2 processes, this one is for you.
Update 5/18 Reeder still crashes or stops responding 90% of the time. Interface is great. Just slow, and crashes daily
Upate 11/2017, crashes and just stops working. It seems to not be apple to handle many feeds. It also is a a memory hog as well.
