Tigris & Euphrates is set in the ancient fertile crescent with players building civilizations through tile placement.

"Codito is ... giving Days of Wonder a run for their money."
In fertile Mesopotamia between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, lies the cradle of civilization.
Your goal is to develop all 4 of the key spheres of civilization: Settlements, Temples, Farms, and Markets. To do this, you will position your leaders, create and extend kingdoms, build monuments, and resolve conflicts. Tension arises when kingdoms connect and leaders clash on the board, with only one leader of each type surviving. You will thus aquire victory points in each of the four spheres. The winner is the player who develops their civilization in the most balanced way, without revealing a sphere of weakness.
With no setup time required, no pieces to lose, and no arguments about the rules, the future of board games is here and Tigris & Euphrates gives you exactly what you want -- to play!
How to play:
During their turn, the active player may carry out up to two of the following actions, in any order:
- Position (place, move or remove) a leader.
- Place a tile and earn a victory point.
- Place a catastrophe tile.
- Swap up to 6 tiles
The active player may choose two different actions, or the same action twice.
No set up required
Support for 3 modes of play: solo, "pass and play," and "hotseat" (around the table) play

Needs a couple of interface changes
This is a great game, don't get me wrong. It works great on both iPad and iPhone/iPod touch. So good in fact that you'll be playing it over and over. Then you'll start to notice the interface issues. Then you'll get annoyed by them. Then you'll start to hate them. 1) takes 10 seconds at the end of the game just to see the scores. The rest of the game moves super fast, but not this part. Someone thought it would be fun to be suspenseful, but it's really a huge waste of time. If you play 60 games, and you will easily, you'll have lost 10 minutes of your life. 2) Someone thought it would be worthwhile to save every game you complete automatically. So unless you want to waste time scrolling through endless pages of finished games, you'll have to delete the game every time you finish it. Another waste of time. 3) the "rematch" button doesn't work. It starts a new game but never lets you play. 4) lastly, on iPhone/iPod touch, when it's not your turn you can't see your tiles or scores. Would be nice to have this option in a single player game so you can plan your turn while the computer plays.
It's a 5-star game, but only a 3-star interface. A couple of bug fixes would literally make this perfect.
You place tiles on a board like scrabble. While the board is always the same you get different tiles each game to start and how they a played quickly makes each game different. Easy to learn' but hard to master much like a game of checkers. Tutorial was very helpful in learning how to play.
Easy to pick up and play
A game only takes about 10 minutes to play max
Different game each time
Lots of customization for how the game plays
There are only a limited number of tiles (four types).
I see the computer players all starting with the same initial set of moves. This makes the starting the games pretty boring.
There is only one game board. You can purchase an additional board for more $. Making a board can not be that hard. We should get a few more board options because that might seriously change the game up.
When you replay a game you lost the game crashes. You have to exit to the main menu and start over to play another game.
I do like the game
I do like the game. I have the board version as well and like the app because it's not a favorite amongst gamers. What I don't like about the app itself is I paid money for it and yet I get the annoying ad for the Porto Rico game app that I also already own. It pops up when taping the screen to load my game. It also regularly freezes the game and I have to reboot my device. Sometimes when I'm luckily enough not to select it I can't get it to close. The (x) to close doesn't always work. I figure it froze my device there and have to reboot my device. I'd like to play multiple games, but multiple games would require more access to the game thus more of that ad getting in the way. I haven't recommended this game to my friends because of the ad. We just play other euro games instead.
