This benchmark was made to bring console-like graphics to mobile
Terrain shader with blend maps, transparency sorting, water with real-time reflection and refraction, Post Processing Effects : Depth of Field, real-time Shadow Mapping, Screen Space Ambient Occlusion, AntiAliasing, Anisotropic Filtering.
An extra "Explorer Mode" offered as an in-app purchase will enable :
- Screen Space Ambient Occlusion
- Remove ads.
Some of the features in the benchmark has levels (Low/Medium/High) whenever possible. Here's how they differ :
DOF - Low ( 7x7 kernel, ) High (15x15 kernel, effectively 4 times more operations)
Shadows - Low (1024x1024 shadow map with a smooth filter of 3x3 ) Med ( MaxTextureSize /2 with 5x5 kernel ) High ( MaxTextureSize with 7x7 kernel )
SSAO - Low ( 1/4 Res ) High ( 1/2 Res, 4x heavier on processing )
This feature is for developers and will detail all the OpenGL ES 2 or OpenGL ES 3 extensions that your iOS device supports. Tapping an OES/EXT extensions will also open a web page for that extension's specification. If you are a developer, you can share/send the extensions through e-mail, Facebook, etc.
- iOS 10 compatibility
- fixed motion blur (high)
Ratings and Reviews
3.01 - Installs, but crashes
Thank you for allowing iOS 10 devices to install, however it now crashes on launch.
Unsure on how to send a crash log.
Original review (s) below.
I saw the developer response this morning, but my excitement for a workin modern gfx benchmark quickly died, once I recieved an "this requires iOS 11" popup.
Thus, I have updated my review due to it apparently working for devices on iOS 11. I am still on iOS 10, and cannot update beyond 10.3.3 due to ridiculous company policy.
It would be nice if 3.0 had support for iOS 10, and then 3.1 for iOS 11...
P.S Thank-you, Ciprian for updating the app, but I can sadly not use it, and am stuck on the nonworking (pre 3.0) version. If you have the time, could 3.0.1 support iOS 10, and immediately after 3.1 for iOS 11? (To allow iOS 10 devices to "downgrade")
Below is my original review.
It may work on ios 9, but not any version of iOS 10 (it crashes upon launch).
Until the developer fixes the crash, buy something else.
Try the 3.01 update :)
This game is bad
This is the worst! You can't control your player at all, it has vary bad lag and as far as I know there's nothing optimizing this game for Mobile devices! LOL! Just kidding I know this is a benchmark app and it's vary good as one! 👍🏻
why iOS 1?
hello developer, please support iOS 10 at least.
Try the 3.01 update :)
