I really wish that this millennial generation was as half as brave and dignified as these men from great grandfathers generations were. In this day and age the people whine and complain and are so EXTREMELY narcissistic but the young people from their day were REAL MEN who fought for freedom and many paid with their lives. God bless the soldiers in World War I as well as WWII for truly being brave and not thinking of only their selves. Thank you to whoever made this app and brought a piece of history to us that is accessible on a tablet/smartphone with convenience... Thank you for the archives.
Not sure what happend with this app. I got it with high hopes, especially with the screen shots that Apple posted in the App Store. I wanted to see the Propaganda Posters of WWI, and the screen shot shows 2 such posters and what looks like a search menu. Well, nothing like that exists in the app. No Propaganda material and no search ability. At this point, especially given the expectations, this app is truly a disappointment. It's a cheap dump of limited material into a few tabs. Maybe they will get it together and create something useful. I hope so, because right now, it isn't, and it isn't worth the space on my iPad.
Good but needs work
I found Remembering WWI to be very informative in fact I would even say I learned from it, for instance, I did not know that women painted camouflage to help the war effort but, with that being said it did take me awhile to find that out as the menu is slow/clunky. In a modern time such as the one we live in I expect it to be fast I don't want to wait 10-20 seconds every time I change a slide or return to the main menu. That is why I gave this app 3 stars.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
