It’s all about speed.
Remind Me Faster is designed to let you add a reminder with as few taps as possible. Open the app and you're typing. Add a reminder and you're ready to type the next. The interface is optimised for the moment something crosses your mind.
It works with and compliments the built in Reminders app that's already on your iPhone or iPad.
• Set a notification time with as little as one tap
• Swipe down to add a priority - !!
• Swipe left or right to switch lists
• Tap the list to return to your default
• Added reminders can be viewed in the built in Reminders app
• iPad keyboard shortcuts — You can now add a reminder with cmd + Enter, switch lists with cmd + left/right, and change priority with cmd + down.
• Haptic feedback for switching lists and adding reminders on iPhone 7 or later.
• Simple URL scheme support — RemindMeFaster:// to open the app.
• Fixed height of the controls above the keyboard on iPhone X.

Has potential but lacks necessary features!
I am a big fan of Federicco Vitccia (MacStories) and rely heavily on his recommendations. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with his recommendation of Remind Me. The app is well thought out and works well but it isn't a replacement for Reminders. I create quite a few repeat reminders and there isn't a way to do that with this Remind Me, how disappointing. I don't want to have to create my reminders in different app's, it is very unproductive. Hopefully, the developer will add repeat reminders in a future release.
Hi there - sorry to hear you were disappointed.
The app is designed to compliment the built in Reminders app, rather than replace it. That said, there are several small additions I'd like to make to this when I find the time. You're not the only one to request repeat reminders so I'll certainly consider this!
Thanks for the feedback :)
This is what I’ve been looking for!!
This has been by far the best integration with the native reminders app by far! So it works well with all my Apple decides.
The only feature that would be nice to have would be if you could edit the default time slots by typing the time or date in just like how it’s done in FatastiCal. Would make this the perfect reminders app.
Hi there! Thanks so much for the review. Really great to hear from people who find this app useful.
Having used fantastical myself in the past I’m assuming you’re talking about the natural language input? I.e. “do the thing at 4pm tomorrow” would set 4pm & tomorrow automatically? I agree that’s really useful, although I have to be honest I’m not likely to find the time for that one - tricky to find the time to develop the updates at all currently!
Still, noted, and you never know.
Thanks again for the feedback, and I’m @RemindMeFaster on twitter if you have any further thoughts or suggestions.
So glad someone finally developed a simple tool to quickly get reminders into iOS and it's free on top of it! For those who gripe that it isn't a good replacement for Reminders, it isn't meant to be. It's meant to take the hassle out of using the default Reminders app just to add a new task.
Would love to see it available for iPad as well but even without native support, 5 stars 😎
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
